^Because when this guide was made you could not add insignias to tyrian armour and glads was the only one with +energy.

For Behemoths, wait for the patrol of Charged Blackness to leave. Then just hit Sprint and run through. If you get crippled... well, they don't do any real damage so just heal it off with Healing Signet.
I don't get how you kill the groups of 9 Mindblades... I can't get a single VmK off, and spamming Vengeful Weapon to stay alive takes forever to kill them and eventually I run out of energy.

i tried to sprint through but they bodyblocked and the traps killed me
Also off 5 runs i havnt got 1 ecto waste of cash if you ask me or is it like this for every1 >.>

I had one run of 2 ectos and about 4-5 no ecto runs to, its unusual as my ecto droprate is normally quite lucky, but i suppose we all have our off days/weeks

Witte has done a great job and im sure with this thread being over a year old he may decide to bring upto date.I say this as in 1 yr im sure anet has added new AI and even changed armor setup and nerfed skills.
If he does decide to update im sure a lot of us are eagerly awaiting

Can anyone tell me what is the point for desperation blow? I only read that its used to kill coldfires, but they can be avoided so easily.

Take [skill]Signet of Stamina[/skill] or [skill]Feel No Pain[/skill] instead of it; more leeway against Mindblade Spectres (although I still can't kill the groups of 9....argh)

I picked up this build v.recently too, 8 ectos so far after approx 10-15 runs. Yes ecto-less runs are annoying but from all the discussion on the board, nothing surprising.
Personally i've found that knights insig help more than radiant generally and yes the behemoths blocking is a pain, ive only got that 2 times out of 15 say so no real problem. Got to the Chaos plains for the first time on my last run (this is the v.first time i went UW so didnt know the right routes etc) so im still learning really so im happy with my 8 ectos plus 9/10 times I get back my entrance fee from white merch drops.
It would be nice if Witte has time to update though ;o)

Don't fight them. You should be able to avoid all Darknesses on the run to the Chaos Planes.

Any hints killing mindblades? I just gave this a try and faced a group of 3 mindblades, they keep getting off aggro and interrupts on VwK makes the dmg kinda slow and they regen. I used a small variation of skills; VwK, Vengeful Wep, Resilient, Dolyak Sig, Bonettis, Sprint, Stamina Sig, and "For Great Justice".
FGJ isnt a necessity so Im thinking of swapping it for something for the mindblades.
A vid of the w/rt killing mindblades would b helpful

I've found out how to kill 9 Mindblade Groups; however, it's not really time-efficient. The E/Mo, A/Me, and R/N are better.
Basically, you need Knight's Insignia, a -3/hexed shield with +7 armor vs physical damage. This will reduce all incoming damage to 0.
You also want a dual 20/20 set; I use Droknar's Restoration Focus and a Restoration Focus from the Leviathan Pits crafter.
The following bar is what I recommend.

12 Restoration, 11+2+1 Strength, 6+1 Tactics
Against groups of 3 just cast VmK when hexes expire on you. During that time they will be busy recasting and thus will most likely not interrupt you (if they do don't worry, they won't kill you). You can also use the method below but I find it more time consuming and unnecessary.
Against 4+, you'll want to exploit some strange feature that Mindblades have. First off, cast VmK before you aggro them, and then run towards them. This will deal some damage to all of them. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DAMAGE THEM!!! Then, approximately every 20 seconds or so, a group of the Mindblades (<1/2) will break off and run away to about half radar range. A few seconds later, all the remaining Mindblades except one will break off and run away, and the Mindblades that ran away earlier will come back. THIS IS WHEN YOU CAST VMK!!!!! While they are running, they have the smallest chance of interrupting you. Most of the time you will get it casted; occasionally it will be interrupted but don't worry.
Feel No Pain will neutralize their degen for 12/15 seconds. Dolyak Signet and your weapons and insignia make them do 0 damage with attacks. Use Vengeful Weapon to heal any damage that gets through, but use it sparingly or you will run out of energy.
Note that this isn't really worth it, it takes about 15 minutes to clear a Dream Rider + Mindblade wave. But it's still doable.
